Dash Loc is looking for an intern who is enthusiastic and motivated to work as a legal intern in the Corporate Law team of Dashlock and it’s a paid internship programme so the stipend will be given to the candidates. This internship will offer an opportunity to gain first-hand experience in the various aspects of Corporate law, such as merger and acquisition contract drafting compliance and corporate governance
Key Responsibilities
As an intern, your work will be to aid and assist the legal team in drafting various contracts, interviewing, and going through the documents, which include contracts, agreements, and corporate policies.
- The intern will have to conduct various legal research on corporate law and prepare a summary of whatever research he/she has conducted.
- The intern will also have to support the team in compliance-related tasks, which include regulatory filings and documentation
- The intern will have to participate in the meetings and take notes to ensure that all actions and items are documented.
- Help in the due diligence for transactions and other legal corporate matters for the team.
Qualifications
The candidate should currently pursue a law degree (L.L.B.) from a recognized institution or university.
- The candidate must have an interest in Corporate Law as well as a strong academic performance
- The candidate must also have strong writing research and analytical skills
- The candidate must be able to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
- The Candidate must be an expert in Microsoft Office tools and should be well-versed with the legal research tools for research purposes
- The candidate must Possess strong attention to detail
